This is why the Inception is so effective as it really allows us to get involved in the film. Inception is in my mind, Christopher Nolan"s master piece as it keeps you hooked from start to end even though it does start to die down a little in the final third of the film. Inception is a film you will need to see several times to really make your own mind up on the whole idea of the film. I would compare it more towards The Matrix with a hint of the James Bond action sequences. Inception is really effective in connecting with the audience and leaves us with questions well after the film has finished, making it a real competitor for an Academy award. Overall, Inception is a true masterpiece and deserves all the credit it"s receiving as it will leave you pining for more.

-I don"t get it -still don"t get it -ok, I think I get it now -yes, I definitely understand what is happening now? I think. hmmm, I don"t think Ellen Page is right for this part -What is with all the explosions? I"m glad I brought my ear plugs -there is no gravity in dream layers 1 and 2 but there is gravity in dream layers 3 and 4. What is with that? how long is this movie. these seats are uncomfortable! the dude sitting beside me keeps touching me with his elbow. I think he is hitting on me. -what time is it? ohhhh! That old dude at the end of the movie is the same old dude as the beginning? clever! wait. is he still dreaming. I don"t get it any more.
The reason why I wrote down my thoughts is as follows: I thought Inception was a good movie. However, a great movie is one where you lose yourself in the film. You forget where you are and you are only concerned with what is going to happen next. You actually forget that you are watching a movie. That didn"t happen for me.
That being said, I did like how the movie kept you guessing. There was also some ground breaking effects. I think that maybe it was a little too long and there was a little too much action for my liking.
I would recommend seeing this movie. However, maybe wait until it is on DVD.
